Privacy
Policy.

This policy explains what information SparkCut handles when you create, edit, and publish short-form video content.

1. Information we collect

We may collect account and contact information you provide, basic TikTok profile information you authorize (such as display name and avatar), uploaded videos and audio, YouTube URLs, generated clips, transcripts, captions, descriptions, posting preferences, and technical information such as device type, browser, IP address, and usage events.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and improve SparkCut; receive and process source videos; identify potential short-form moments; generate transcripts, clips, captions, descriptions, and hashtags; let you preview and edit content; connect authorized third-party accounts; publish or schedule content only after your approval; prevent abuse; maintain security; and comply with law.

3. AI processing

Content you submit may be processed by automated systems to transcribe speech, detect engaging segments, reframe video, and suggest text. AI output can be inaccurate or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing every clip and description before publishing. We do not represent that a virality score guarantees performance.

4. TikTok and other services

If you connect TikTok, SparkCut uses TikTok authorization tokens to perform only the actions you approve. We may receive basic authorized account information and posting status. We do not receive your TikTok password. TikTok’s own terms and privacy policy govern its services. You may disconnect TikTok or revoke SparkCut’s access through TikTok at any time.

5. How we share information

We may share information with infrastructure, storage, transcription, AI-processing, analytics, security, and publishing providers only as needed to operate SparkCut. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, financing, or sale. We do not sell personal information for money.

6. Storage and retention

We retain account information and project records while your account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Uploaded media and generated assets may be retained until you delete them or your account, subject to backup and legal-retention periods.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your account credentials confidential and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, or object to certain processing. You may also delete projects, disconnect third-party accounts, and revoke TikTok authorization. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Children

SparkCut is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children who cannot legally consent to use the service.

10. International use

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

11. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as SparkCut evolves. We will post the updated policy here and change the effective date. For privacy questions or requests, contact SparkCut Support through the support channel provided in the service.
